The Supply Chain Management Systems course focuses on two main areas:
- The modern supply chain, its organization and operation, and the modern management tools.
- The strategic planning, the organizational and operational function of an organization in order to operate in the best way within a modern supply chain.
Through case studies, assignments, and presentations by guest speakers, students gain a common understanding of the concept and importance of applying Supply Chain Management to various types of business units/organizations.
The course aims to give the postgraduate student the ability to:
- Adapt to new situations.
- Make decisions concerning supply systems both in a product manufacturing environment and in a service provision environment.
- Work in an interdisciplinary environment.
